Product Description
What is CEMIMAX DP80?
CEMIMAX DP80 is a one-component low-emission dispersion primer formulated for improving adhesion on non-absorbent flooring substrates before the application of adhesives, smoothing layers, or self leveling compound systems. The primer forms a fast-drying bonding film that enhances mechanical grip on dense surfaces.
Where is it Used?
- Ceramic and natural stone tiles
- Terrazzo flooring
- Epoxy-coated surfaces
- Metal surfaces
- Existing non-water-soluble adhesive residues
- Preparation before self leveling compound installation

How is CEMIMAX DP80 Applied?
Apply the primer in a thin, even coat using a roller to create a uniform bonding film. Do not dilute with water. Allow the primer to dry to a clear, tack-free surface before installing adhesives, smoothing layers, or self leveling compound products such as Cemimax leveling systems.
Substrate Preparation Requirements
Subfloors must be clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, paint, wax, or weak layers. Remove unstable coatings or loose adhesive residues by grinding, abrading, or shot-blasting before application. Do not apply over water-soluble adhesives.
System Integration
CEMIMAX DP80 functions as a bonding primer within the complete flooring installation system, preparing non-absorbent substrates to ensure long-term flooring adhesion performance.
