Amazon Australia
The 200,000 square metre facility is expected to be the largest fulfilment centre built in Australia and will have the ability to operate 24/7. The centre will incorporate Amazon’s latest robotics systems, the first time they will have been deployed in the southern hemisphere.
Concert Hall – Sydney Opera House
Redevelopment has begun of the iconic Sydney Opera House’s concert hall. The two-year renovation aims to better equip it for performances, enhance its acoustics, improve accessibility and create a safer working environment. Part of the biggest upgrade to the building since it opened in 1973, the project will include a new acoustic ceiling, new automated drapes, and a 3D surround-sound system for amplified performances.
Google HQ – Sydney
Google snapped up 38-42 Pirrama Rd, Pyrmont. This building will be used as Sydney Headquarters. The 34-38 Pirrama Road site incorporates two heritage buildings and a smaller gatehouse building. Combined, the sites have a total area of about 1 hectare.
Surry Hills High School
Located within the heart of Sydney, Hansen Yuncken is currently constructing the new Inner Sydney High School, blending heritage structures with contemporary architecture. The NSW Government aims to create flexible facilities to support technology-rich settings and an evolving curriculum. New teaching spaces at Inner Sydney High School will incorporate principles of energy efficiency and ecologically sustainable development.
King & Phillip
King & Phillip’s 104 luxurious residences are presented through a variety of 34 configurations that offer something unique to even the most discerning tastes. This 92-metre high building includes 26 floors, 23 of which are dedicated to residences.
