What is Cemimax A390 Adhesive?

CEMIMAX A390 is a very high strength dispersion adhesive for resilient synthetic floor and wall coverings in interior areas. Based on modified polyacrylate copolymers with bond strengthening resins, it offers very high initial tack, excellent final bonding strength and a low VOC formulation.

Installation

How Cemimax A390 Adhesive is applied

Subfloor preparation

The substrate must be dry, clean and smooth. Allow primers and smoothing compounds to dry thoroughly before applying the adhesive and refer to the data sheets of the products used.

How to apply

Stir the product thoroughly before use. Apply evenly on the substrate using an A2 or A3 toothed trowel. Allow an open time of 10 to 20 minutes, then lay the flooring material. Rub the surface with a wood plate or roll with a roller to remove entrapped air and make sure the adhesive has transferred to the back of the flooring material. Application temperature should not be lower than 5°C.

System integration

CEMIMAX A390 is applied over Cemimax primers and smoothing compounds once these have dried thoroughly, bonding resilient floor and wall coverings as the final installation layer. Refer to the data sheets of the primer and smoothing compound used.
