What is Cemimax DP200?
CEMIMAX DP200 is a one-component fast-drying polyurethane primer and moisture vapor retarder for concrete and cement-based subfloors. It strengthens the substrate and quickly brings subfloors to a condition ready for covering installation. DP200 can be applied to substrates with humidity up to 6% CM and is suitable for interior and exterior use.

Installation
How Cemimax DP200 is applied

Subfloor preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and strong. Loose or weak layers must be completely removed by grinding and the substrate cleaned thoroughly before the primer is applied.

How to apply
Stir the container well before use. Apply the primer evenly with a primer roller, velour roller or fine-pored foam roller without letting the material pool. As a primer, apply one coat at 100 to 150 g/m². As a moisture barrier, apply two to three coats at 250 to 350 g/m² in total using a criss-cross method, with each coat forming a thin closed film. Drying time is 40 to 90 minutes per coat on absorbent surfaces and 60 to 150 minutes on dense surfaces. Broadcast quartz sand (70 to 140 mesh) onto the wet primer, or apply Cemimax DP80 primer once the surface has dried if no sand is used. Leveling compound can be applied the next day. Direct bonding work should be completed within 72 hours after the primer has dried.

CEMIMAX DP200 functions as a polyurethane strengthening primer and moisture vapor retarder, preparing substrates for adhesives and self leveling compound applications to ensure long-term durability and adhesion stability. Where quartz sand is not broadcast into the primer, apply Cemimax DP80 primer before the leveling compound.
