About patching
Patching compounds fill cracks, holes, joints and low spots in the subfloor before new flooring is installed. Skipping this step lets defects show through thin floor coverings such as vinyl, and can cause bubbling, shifting or lifting over time.
For local repairs, use Cemimax PP4 or PP5. For a whole room that is uneven, patch the worst areas first and then apply a Cemimax self leveling compound for a completely flat base.

Yes. Cemimax patching compounds are designed for concrete and cement based subfloors.
PP4 is ready for floor covering in about 15 minutes, and PP5 sets within about 15 minutes. Times vary with depth, temperature and humidity.
Patching compound is best for local repairs such as cracks, holes and small low spots. To level a whole room or large uneven area, use a Cemimax self leveling compound such as DL24, DL30 or DL59.
PP5 bonds without primer in most applications. On very porous surfaces, or with PP4, a primer such as Cemimax DP101 may be recommended. Check the technical data sheet for your substrate.
PP4 is a fast drying interior patching compound that feathers to 12.7 mm. PP5 is a rapid repair compound for higher fill depths, works indoors and outdoors and needs no primer in most applications.
