What is CEMIMAX Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Membrane?
CEMIMAX Self-Adhesive Membrane is a cross-laminated HDPE waterproofing membrane combined with polymer-modified rubber bitumen adhesive designed to create a permanently bonded waterproof barrier on concrete structures. It integrates cross-laminated high-density polyethylene (HDPE) film with a high-adhesion bitumen layer and a pressure-sensitive self-adhesive system.

How Does the Cross-Laminated HDPE Structure Improve Performance?
Cross-laminated HDPE increases tensile strength, dimensional stability, and puncture resistance compared to unidirectional films. Unlike standard films, this multi-layer lamination prevents excessive stretching, reduces tearing propagation, and maintains structural integrity under load, meeting Type II requirements under GB/T35467-2017.

How is the Membrane Applied?
Installation follows a sequential process to ensure a continuous barrier. Overlap longitudinal joints by 60mm and transverse joints by a minimum of 100mm. Press firmly to ensure full adhesion and seal edges using mastic where necessary. Protect the membrane from prolonged UV exposure and before backfilling.
Available Sizes
Supplied in 1m × 20m × 1.5mm and 1m × 20m × 1.0mm rolls. Each roll features 60mm overlap markings to support controlled, high-integrity installations.
