An 8,000 sqm floor upgrade, indoors and out
ActiveSG Queenstown involved upgrading an existing floor across approximately 8,000 sqm, covering the gymnasium, the poolside deck and a number of supporting rooms. Because the scope spanned both climate-controlled interiors and a fully exposed outdoor poolside, two distinct Cemimax systems were specified — each matched to the demands of its environment — to ensure a durable, long-lasting finish throughout.
A full flooring upgrade across the gym, poolside and supporting rooms — approximately 8,000 sqm — delivered with a tailored Cemimax system for both internal and exposed external environments.

Each area was matched to its environment — an exposed, weather-resistant build-up for the poolside and a high-performance internal system for the gym and rooms.
Built to withstand the outdoor environment
DL59 was proposed for the poolside because it offers better tolerance for outdoor weather conditions, including rain and high temperatures. Paired with it, Cemimax A710 — a two-part PU adhesive designed for exposed applications — provides a dependable bond in the demanding poolside environment.
