About self-levelling
A self leveling compound is a polymer modified, cement based material that flows out by itself to form a flat, level surface. Unlike traditional cement screed, it needs very little trowelling and can be applied in thin layers, which saves time and floor height.

Installation

Make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and sound. Fill cracks and holes with PP4 or PP5 patching compound.

Apply DP101 on absorbent surfaces or DP80 on non absorbent surfaces such as tiles. Use DP200 on damp slabs. Let the primer dry.

Add the powder to clean, cool water at the ratio on the bag. Mix for 2 to 3 minutes with a low speed drill until lump free.

Pour onto the primed subfloor in sections and spread with a gauge rake or trowel to the required thickness.

Let it self smooth and use a spike roller to release air. Keep off the floor until it is walkable and dry enough for the floor covering.

It is a cement based material that is mixed with water and poured over an uneven subfloor. It flows out by itself and fills dips and imperfections, creating a flat, stable base for the final floor covering.
DL59 and CemITOP are walkable in about 2 hours. The time before you can install flooring depends on the product, layer thickness, temperature and humidity, so always check the technical data sheet before laying the floor covering.
DL59 is a high strength compound up to 45 MPa for high traffic and heavy wear areas. DL24 is a quick setting, economical smoothing compound for normal traffic areas and home renovations.
No. Cement screed is a thicker, hand trowelled mix, while self leveling compound flows by itself to form a thinner, flatter surface and usually sets much faster.
Yes, as long as the tiles are well bonded and clean. Prime them first with Cemimax DP80 primer for non absorbent surfaces.
